Further to the announcement made by HEKTAR REIT on 18 May 2009, HEKTAR REIT is pleased to announce that it has successfully rectified its public shareholding spread based on the Record of Depositors of HEKTAR REIT as at 21 May 2009, which is as follows :-

Pursuant to Paragraph 8.15(1) of the Listing Requirements, a listed company must ensure that at least 25% of its total listed shares are in the hands of a minimum of 1,000 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each ("Required Public Shareholding Spread").
Bursa Securities had via its letter dated 2 December 2008 granted HEKTAR REIT an extension of time of six (6) months until 31 May 2009 to comply with the Required Public Shareholding Spread.
Accordingly, HEKTAR REIT had complied with the Required Public Shareholding Spread as 28% of HEKTAR REIT'S shares are held in the hands of 1,093 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each.
